Iksar Hide Mask not changing faction. I am a Halfling Rogue of Bristlebane, and using the mask still makes me con Scowls to all the Iksar factions. Is this supposed to be happening? |
They don’t like rogues nor bristlebane. |

Masks/illusions just adjust your racial faction. You can still be kos for other reasons |
Iksars are a hateful lot. At one point my character was friendly with guards and still KOS to shamans / sks. |

Yeah illusions only give you a faction adjustment, lets say +500 (This is just a guess). As mentioned above, religion is a factor when determining starting faction. If Iksars dislike Bristlebane, you may have a -300 (Also just a guess) from that. In this scenario, the mask would only be giving you a net +200. That isn't bad, but https://wiki.project1999.com/Faction scowling has 1000 points within it. I am not sure how close Bristlebane Rogues are to the bottom of scowling by default. I am assuming you haven't been lowering your Iksar factions in some manner, so that probably isn't an additional factor. |

Yeah this is why encs always roll agnostic |
Never knew picking Bristlebane would blow up in my face, considering he counts as a neutral god. |
Yes, but Iksar aren’t neutral. They are very xenophobic. All religions but CT are -1000*. I bet the original devs would have put agnostic as -1000 if they could have! *actually varies between the different factions in cabilis, e.g the guards are pretty tolerant of Innoruuk at -50 compared to the merchants -1000. It seems certain guilds are a bit less scathing of VS’s dip into inny. |

As an agnostic rogue I have no issues in Cabilis with the Iksar mask. |
