Feign Death and Casting Mobs
 

I can't remember how FD worked in classic, but did it interrupt casting mobs?

The problem I keep running into is that you feign but a mob or two is casting. Even if I'm behind a wall out of LOS the spell hits and breaks FD. I can be literally behind 3 walls and I'll get hit with a spell breaking FD.

Working as intended? Shouldn't it interrupt casting?

Thats interesting since I remember it interrupting npc spellcasting.

For some reason I thought I remembered it interrupting casting. The problem is you can be literally rooms away from the mob and behind multiple walls, if they "start casting" before you FD, the spell will hit you, breaking FD. This really becomes a major pain in the ass when there are multiple casting mobs or very little room to work with.

Yes, LoS breaks casting, but FD never did (that I recall) I didn't play for like the first 2-3 months though. So maybe before my time.

LOS does not break casting of certain spells

I get hit constantly through 3 walls, or around corners, ect.

you have an argument for the LoS, I noticed some walls don't interupt spell casting.

Also, did mobs go through walls in classic? I don't remember that.
