Ranger Double Archery Damage Inadvertantly Nerfed
 

With the raid encounters of NToV being rooted to make the encounters more challenging, this has inadvertantly nerfed rangers for an unclassic performance on archery damage.

I am not sure if it is possible, but I would venture to propose that doubling archery damage for post 50 rangers also include rooted targets.

Or at least, rooted targets in NToV

Permarooted npc’s aren’t really rooted, they have movement speed set to 0. Otherwise you could just proximity aggro them with your mt and never care about overaggro.
At least that’s how it worked on live

They are rooted. I dont get double damage engaging them.
