Keep the 60 fps cap after latest patch? Mouse Looking very slow.

Is there a way to keep the 60 fps cap on the game after this patch? Mouse Looking is very slow after this patch when the fps is high.

You could uninstall the patch... It's optional (for now). But, I think I remember someone saying mouse look speed is related to the polling rate setting on the mouse - if it's too high you mouse turn slowly or something? I don't use mouse look so no idea on the details unfortunately.

Seeing this issue as well with the new patch files, fps cap automatically sets itself to 100, and the left-right mouselook is extremely slow. Can't seem to undo this in the game settings or by editing the eqclient.ini

Update here, I was able to fix the right-left mouselook speed issue by going into my nvidia control panel settings and setting the max FPS for the eqgame.exe application to 60, hope this helps anyone else with the issue for now

I have WINEQ2 locked at 60 FPS but in game FPS never spikes above 35 FPS. This is pre-patch. I'm a day away from getting back to my PC. Do you think my FPS will finally be 60 FPS after I patch or am I missing an option.

Does reducing the fps to 60 in the games options not help any?

Problem is it resets to 100 FPS everytime the game loads and it's annoying. I'm running on a Macbook Pro and I actually want to set it to 30 FPS to stop the fan from running at 100%.
