Video freezes but can still interact?

After installing one of those texture patches, the HD one, sometimes my game freezes the video but i can still walk and talk and send inputs to the game. I think it might be one of the texture patches but anyone have an idea if this has happened to them?

it mainly happens when rotating the camera around an area, notably kael, KC, and TOV :(

Happened to me in some locations before I installed dgVoodoo. This may apply to you if you use an nvidia card.

I do use an Nvidia card. I googled the links for voodoo but theres a lot, can you paste which one you used to make it work? :)
