Merchants for all near FoB?
I'm contemplating running over there as a high elf enchanter to do Kurn's. However is there a merchant near there I can use or is FV the only place close?
Thanks |
I don't think so. Do you need to be looting plat / sell items at that level, though?
Kurns is so fast you could probably load up with enough food/water to make it out of there. Are you doing your own spell research? |
I try and loot everything and anything I can to sell / use to make plat. I would like to do spell research but never have really tried. I usually just end up buying them from someone else.

At level 20 you get https://wiki.project1999.com/Illusion:_Iksar ... I'm not an Enchanter, but unless the racial faction penalties are too high, wouldn't that let you use Iksar merchants?
And if there are faction penalties, there might be a way to fix them by repeating some low-level quests. |

https://wiki.project1999.com/Bone_Chips_(Quest) Unfortunately Iksar illusion is 20...by then its almost done w/ Kurns. You may have better mileage at The Warrens or Runnyeye. Both fantastic zems (128% iirc) with good towns closer by. |
ahh ok well thanks for the input much appreciated!

I actually brought my High Elf enchanter to Cabilis as well. So I can tell you from personal experience. If you decide to faction up Cabilis, it will be a long, ugly road. The Iksar illusion spell will make you ok to most, but you will still be KOS to the shaman guild, so beware. Like others have said you can fix that by bone chip quests, making sure to watch out for the roaming guard on shaman faction. (crusader quarg)
It will literally take you around 10,000 bone chips to become non-kos to shamans. You read that right. TEN THOUSAND. |
Thats a lot of bone chips.

The iksar illusion quest is kind of hard for a lvl 20 anyway,so you would likely need to buy it
The run to firiona vi really not that bad,you can also invis through cabilis just be careful. There is a neutral merchant in lake of Ill omen |
