This item, Summoned: Coldstone, is supposed to give +5AC. However, it does not.

Items in the Ammo slot never give AC, even if they have the AC stat. Have you tried equipping it in Neck, Primary, or Secondary?

I wasn't aware of that. Yes, it works if equipped in those other slots. What is the reasoning for it not working in the ammo slot?

Probably a balance concern. Ammo items that give stats of any kind are extremely rare in this era.
