Best tanking weapon on server?
 

Just wondering. Me and my buddy are leveling a cleric/SK duo, and wondering what a good weapon to get him would be. Right now we have an Iksar Berserker Club.

Just wondering if there is anything better for him.

Well if you're going to duo you want the highest dps possible. So take your pick of
MoSS, RoM, GJH, RoL, Noct, etc and a haste item.

If he's an ogre / troll, probably the 2h from royals, though I'd imagine it comes with a very steep price...

If he just has to be a shorty, (which includes you wimpy hoomanz) then I'd probably try to get your hands on a shard of night, which while somewhat rareish from the same place, is SK only--though this server does seem to have quite a few more SKs than live.

edit: furthermore, title is misleading, best tanking weapons on the server are warrior weapons (have you seen the procrates here D=) Which at this time is probably a blade of the black dragon eye. though a small shoutout to ringed mace of ykesha o_O

We definitely don't have that kind of cash for those items laying around. So it would be better for him to be 2h (he's a DE) while we are duo?

How poor are we talking? is M2H an option? (they're kinda common now that kunark's out and everyone shed theirs for a kunark wep). If you're truly broke, MOSS is a great deal and very easy to get, so it should be relatively cheap. 19/29 isn't bad, and you can use a shield with it for bash (it's effing clutch to have a spell interrupt <_<).

That being said, you're more 'the start of a group' than a duo. Duoing like that's going to be painfully slow.

Yeah, that's what we figured. We were doing mage/cleric, but decided everytime we are in a group, there is never a tank, so why not be the tank and healer, then we just need dps whenever we want to go anywhere.

We just started a couple weeks ago, and all our gear is hand me down stuff, so basically we are uber poor. Mainly wondering what to set our eyes on, as I figure the best thing to get would be a weapon for him to hits hard and well.

Edit: Also MoSS, any idea what they are going for these days?

If you're poor get a dark reaver for the SK and just spam disease cloud for aggro. Dark reaver procs at 20 if I remember correctly and it pretty cool looking.

Those weapons werent added till revamp, chardok here is pre vamp.

SBS and AD are in... dont think people bother to sell ADs.

Unfortunate :P Just getting my account back here shortly, haven't delved into Kunark yet. Is this the chardok where the entire fking zone have near raidmob hp? :P
