Fake Item Links?
 

How do you do that?

I've seen people with spiffy assist messages or incoming messages where they make the mob's name look like an item link. The link reference does absolutely nothing, but it's nice to have that mob's name look like a link so it stands out. How does one do that?

I think there's a post in the cleric section of our guild forums. That's where I got my infos!

The missing link
 

This thread is missing one crucial piece of information found in one of the last posts. Someone inputs the code and gets numbers (not a link) to which someone replies:

"You need to replace the [ ]'s with 'special boxes:'" and then there's nothing after the colon. I even checked the page source.

To those of us without access to VD's cleric page... can someone maybe shed a bit more insight here? I must have pretty purple letters in my slow macro!

They won't tell you

if they did then why would any clerics join VD?
