Why bother? The result of so many hours leveling your character, trying to get pre-raid pieces to be able to get into a guild to raid, is just getting thrown into the juvenile shitstorm that is the raid scene. The people who run raid guilds on p99 are, and always have been, some of the most petty, obnoxious, asinine douchebag dipshits the MMO community has ever had to deal with. They'd rather disrupt the ENTIRE fabric of the game instead of compromising on things. Playing here is an entire waste of time, moreso than a video game is intended to be. The endgame goal in EQ is to raid, but the raid scene is infested with fucking idiots.
