[FIXED]: Can't Hail Quest NPC, Trigger Dialog, or Turn in quest items
 

Hello!

I'm having a strange technical issue. The NPC in question is Gregor Nasin at the Seafarer's Roost.

I'm trying to complete the quest Exotic Drinks for the Stein of Moggok. I ran this quest probably 200 times on Live back in the early 00s, and at least 20 times on Blue in '10 and '11, so I am pretty familiar with it. I am doing this as a Dark Elf, level 8, using human illusion and alliance, conning amiable.

When I hail every other NPC at the bar, it inputs their name (%t). When I hail Gregor, it just says "Hail". I can't trigger any quest text by asking "who is clurg" or "what exotic drinks". I have witnessed two other people coming up to him, hailing him, and completing the quest, while I have been trying to get around this bug. Manually typing "Hail, Gregor Nasin" has no effect.

Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated.

<Resolved!> Jeez. Apparently I wasn't standing close enough to him. Gregor is an intimate dude on the green server, I guess?
