Any Idea How to Fix This?

I tried a clean install thinking that might help, but it didn't. All drivers are up to date and have a RTX 3080. I only use Duxaui and win eq. This issue happens almost 100% of the time at the OT outpost and CoM stables. Everywhere else it's random and infrequent, but still an annoyance.

Any other info that you need, let me know and I'll supply it.

dgVoodoo2 is the only solution I've seen. It seems to be an issue with how newer video cards interpret API calls from the version of DirectX that the Titanium client is using. It is available from this site http://dege.fw.hu/dgVoodoo2

I used this post here when I set it up, has screenshots of settings:

If I can figure out how to install it, I'll give it a try. Not seeing any type of how to or instructions needed to make it work.

drop the DLLs from \dgVoodoo2_77\MS\x86 into your everquest directory.

Run Downloads\dgVoodoo2_77\dgVoodooCpl.exe, click direct x tab, uncheck the watermark option under "miscellaneous", then click apply, this saves it to the config file (Downloads\dgVoodoo2_77\dgVoodoo.conf)

Drop dgVoodoo.conf into your everquest directory.

I recently applied this fix and it has fixed most of my crashes and freezes in game

My AV ate up the .exe on version 66 i downloaded, didnt seem to have a problem with version 77.

Thanks

Look at my post above. Any version of Voodoo that I download has no dgVoodooCpl.exe file. What I downloaded looks nothing like the video I posted.

I'm downloading from here. http://dege.freeweb.hu/

Your Anti-virus is likely eating the exe

Disabled windows defender. Still the same issue.

Dege Offline

Microsoft Defender shouldn't be a problem with dgVoodoo versions 2.6x+ because I submit new releases to MS for human analysis to remove detection.
Any other AV software can be though...
