about this IP issue

During the quake I saw more than a few people from the raiding guilds abusing their IP Exemptions to fast switch between characters. Every time an account gets granted an IP exemption they are told the following:

Remember the rules: 1 client per Real Life player at any time. Deviation from this rule will result in permanent bans.

You've been warned.



Why warn? cant help wonder that when it says permanent bans if it happens...

i think most people assumed that fast switching between accounts (using /q) and logging in a new toon while the old toon still has the <LD> sign on them, is alright. Im assuming they think it's not strictly "dual boxing" because the previous account is LD.

so Savazuul is just trying to set the record straight. that it's not OK
