Just back to the game after 20 years, and can I just say....
 

What an absolute blast it has been! I have died quite a few times to orc pawns, fae guards, and everything in between, and I am having the time of my freakin' LIFE! I turned in my sword to my Guildmaster Tynkle in the Faelwythe paladin guild and the adventure began. No wonder I loved this game so much as a kid. My dad would put me on his lap while he played his Cleric while he was breastfeeding me, and when I grew a bit older, sometimes he would let me play, and can I just say, now I GET it. I mean I really get it! My first enemy was a black wolf, which I slayed handily with my short sword and guild tunic. But boy oh BOY was I in for a surprise when out of NOWHERE all of the sudden an orc pawn attacked me mid battle. It overcame me and I died, waking up in the guild once again, but ready and raring for adventure once again! Im logging out for the night, but wanted to say THANK YOU to the EQ devs, p99 devs, and all of you all on the p99 forums and the p99 Redditors for helping to make the BEST GAME EVER come back to life. Can't wait to log in tomorrow and get back my sword. See you in Norrath, and HAIL and well met! I freakin' LOVE Everquest!
