cant elaborate further, for fear of dropping spoilers.

Just makes no sense to take all this debt people owe and delete it all by killing all the people who would spend the rest of their lives breaking their backs to pay it off.

People can have their debt used as motivation to do things that don't necessarily align with their best interests.
