A Twist to a Classic

I just wanted to say thanks.

I read this post two or three times. I don't have a critique.

All fun and cool ideas. :)

Nah this is different.

Good post OP.

Here's to hoping one day P99 team releases the custom code so the EQ Emu community as a whole can benefit from nilbog and rogean and the rest of the p99's teams tireless work making this thing classicer.

At the same time this server could probably be done pretty fine and dandy on regular EQ Emu since it's custom.

Tradesonred 09-27-2021 06:49 PM

EQ is such a nice sandbox to fuck around like this, shame its not exploited more. Like Star wars galaxies has a cool one with new planets, new mobs, events, etc... Nice ideas here, too bad we can only see it as a text.

Old_PVP 09-27-2021 09:37 PM

I like it.

Make it so number one.

Maiten 09-28-2021 12:09 PM

I didn't expect the responses, thank you Red community!

If an off-the-wall idea can spark interest, than there is a demand for PvP. No rush team, but there are a lot of players in line.

Shamefully I wouldn't be able to come close to P99's code in years, even if I went full time right now. I was looking through the default Emu source and it just looks like a college group project lol.(Cheers P99 team!)

Time to tell a story, stay tuned!
