Summoned: Shuriken of Quellious ranged attack
 

The summoned stars/ranged attack keeps saying I'm too far away. I inch forward and keep re-testing and get the same message. This happens until I get the message while inching closer that I'm too close to use a ranged attack. I have tested with buffed STR if that helps range, currently at 186 and the same mechanic happens: Too Far and then Too Close.
