I play skyrim unmodded

and still havent beaten it

last time i got close i had like 400 hrs in it and it crashed bugged save wouldn't load i didn't have like 50 backup saves :(

besides the problem that corrupted the save wasn't stoppable without a mod

i didn't want to upgrade the game again, so i just gave up, but i really wanted to be dragonborn

Skyrim had a severely underwhelming ending. And you only had the one save file? Ouch. I end up with like 40-50 saves in those kind of games.

Beat it on PC then beat it on Switch - cool game but once you know a few tricks it becomes very easy to make your character into an unstoppable death god

I dont like SKR because I want the same level of diversity I get in EQ but I feel like it's just make a red mage from final fantasy 1 and call it a day.

On my second play-through, I noticed there was like maybe 5 voice actors for the majority of the game. Completely ruined the game. Multiple millions spent on game production. Not spent on hiring voice actors.

skyrim devs: our characters are walking souless mannequins why would they need more than a few voice actors

*puts bucket on head and steals every item in store

game is more like goat sim to me than EQ

I guess after a few hundred hours or so it became obvious I wasn't interacting with real human beings and the game lost its charm.

Yeah. There's no real diversity in actors and all quests kinda lead towards becoming some cannibal dragon lord with broken spells.

Tbh. I try often to kill as few people and do only the good quests.

It's funner when you put artificial limits on yourself. Like I will not grind stealth/sneak killing to max first. So when ur thieving. U have to use more trickery. Misdirection. Invis potions. Etc. Some quest objectives aren't attainable like I try to not kill the rat guy when poisoning the beer for the thieves guild in the honey meadery.

I had fun ONLY leveling destruction for awhile.

Anyway. Oblivion had some great quests and I felt at home in the dark brotherhood.

I couldn't get into skyrims version of that.

Try playing with restrictions on not using deadric. Not using anything but base potions and armor. Etc...

Only using store bought equipment. Etc.

Yes! My favorite skyrim playthrough was as a deathknight. So i limited myself to plate/2hs weapons and only learned spells that were like the raise dead and frost spells. Didn't use sneak or any ability/spell that was out of character. Made some quests really challenging.
