complete newb, looking for friends to play with
 

I get this sense this game has a tighter knit community than mmos out there currently. I'm planning on rolling a dark elf DK, or else high elf wizard on blue server, but I'll even do a support class if someone would be interested in levelling with me. Looking for a regular group.

Feel free to give me your opinions because I literally don't know what I'm doing. So if my choice of race, class, or server sucks feel free to tell me.

Anything that feels fun to play is good. Green may have a better population in newbie zones though.

Update. Game is hard. Where do I get my spells as a dark elf sk?

You're off to a good start if you're already level 9! Scroll down to the spells section here and click on the name of the spell for its location.

It'll get easier. Remember to use /who to find people near your level to xp with!

"/who all 7 11" will produce a list of the characters online from 7-11 and will show their zone

Green would probably be better for a new player, more low level players actually grouping together.
On blue if you find someone your level, odds are they are being powerleveled by a guildy.

I recently started from scratch as well we could group up. :) I'm a lvl 7 shaman so far, just been kinda in EC killing random animals and dying stupidly and accumulating some scrap gear from those who take pity on me lol
