is shutting down blue an option?
 

after my few weeks of playing i feel that the blue server ran its purpose and keeping it around is only stunting greens health. from what i gathered blue is over a decade old and is no longer updated, meanwhile green server can use the spurt of players across all zones. and from what i ferthuereruer gather, green will too, end its usefulness.

You aren't the first to say this but people depend on the server being there when they come back after hiatus. It is a constant cycle of people going afk for months then expecting to be able to come back and play, and we always have gotten that with blue, green is more new growth while blue is more compounded old growth.. Those people would probably just stop playing if you tried something like this and that kind of "tactic" of over thinking things is exactly what kills the old growth that blue has.. That and Blue and Green are a bit different in a few ways to where Blue is still desirable over Green.

Yup. Shut down blue, my family and I aren't going to play Green, we'd just quit P99 entirely. Not interested in progression servers. Anyone who wanted to move to Green has long since done so.
