Been away for years, now character gone
 

Hi,

I used to play Project 1999 years ago, logged on to my account successfully, however when I attempted to log on to one of the two Project1999 PvE servers (Kunark or Velious), nothing happened, it's as if my character has gone.

Any steer/assistance would be appreciated.

Ok, just checked https://www.project1999.com/account/?LS and my account is showing up.

Ok, so this is an error 1017 issue, have disabled my AntiVrus and Firewall, but stil no joy. However have got it to work by tethering my laptop to my mobile phone, clearly a network issue...:(

Using a VPN also works!

Last played in 2017. Im trying my EQEMU login details in game and it is not working. Im able to log into the eqemu site.

Tried to link my account on p99 and it said it sent an email to link but Im not getting that email. does that take time?

So, if I understand you correctly, you can launch EQ, login and get to the bit where it lists the servers, however when you pick a server and then enter your credentials, that's the bit where it isn't working. Is that correct?
