I have pretty vivid memories of this myself when killing the giant skeletons at the chessboard on live. This must have been somewhere around 1999-2000, because I didn't play that dwarf character past kunark.

during kunark era i went LD trying to zone to gfay because someone picked up the phone and remember the giant steps getting louder and louder at the ZL
of course i came back to being killed
