Korvik the Cursed
 

My friend and I have been searching for old Korvik for the past four nights. We've been doing circles around the zone, patrolling the spawn points revealed on the talk page of the p99 wiki. We've cleared every willowisp we've seen, and killed Ashenpaw, Grimfeather, and Grimtooth several times, but Korvik has never spawned.

I expected it might take a while, but having four nights of no-shows seems excessive. Am I missing something? Has his spawn been disabled, or am I just lacking the persistence and dedication necessary for him to appear?

I am not sure if they've changed NK but that was it for a long time. Thewre are more but here are a few korvik spawns you can check.

Tbh, I just sit at the druid rings and afk

and if I'm lucky he will path right next to me

One or all of these spawn points are probably accurate. (-755, 50), (-1110, 1428), (-3283, -938), (-3174, 178), (-1115, -2101), (665, -2073), (958, -78), (-3257, -1838).

Pick one or two then sit and kill whatever spawns there or whatever paths and stops there. Probably a 6m40s timer, though it might be different.

I've personally seen him on the yellow line from Jibartik's post at night, somewhere between #1 and #4.
Wiki pic also shows at night. Does he maybe only spawn at night? Total guess, but maybe the missing puzzle piece.

I dont think he does (referring to night), I think he is honestly the most common of the NPCs out there in my experience. If I had to guess he had like 7 spawn points.

Id say if you cleared any one of those after a couple hours or less you should see him, but Id run around killing them all, its a 6 min timer zone so its pretty easy to get a bunch of spots onto a rotation.

Ive seen multiple instances of him up at the same time, I might have a SS let me poke around.

I’ve been doing a little bit of living and a lot of dying there the past week and not seen him once but if I do I’ll let you know if I do.

The times I've seen him up he's been just barely South of the gypsy camp.

Question to OP,
Were you able to get it because I've been tracking him for 4 days now without much luck.

I zipped around NK for weeks and weeks looking for him and asking in ooc if anyone had seen him with no luck

I ended up getting the medallion from TunnelQuest for 50p. 2 days ago when I was selling fine steel weaps to the gypsy camp I noticed him walking around just outside of camp. I killed him after no one in the zone said they needed him. Probably shouldn’t have done it but I was pissed at him for eluding me for so long (also a high level mage who was massacring every mob in the zone trying to get griffienes to spawn was about to kill him anyway. The mage said he already had the medallion too in his bank so no matter what it was going to rot). He didn’t drop the medallion, just some -5 cha wrist

I’ve also seen HG’s in NK multiple times this past week having gone weeks never seeing them before
