Fallout 4 mods

Hi dears,

I never played a modern Fallout game before. I just got Fallout 4 VR. Are there any mods that are a must have for this one, or is it good/"better than skyrim is" Vanilla?

Thx. :)

Pretty horrible and boring game no matter what.

Seems kew so far idk. Looking for my little lost boy and fuckface who shot my man is a lot more compelling storyline than "Your the Dragonthang, remember do to the huge long escort quest if u want to continue the storyline and dont get distracted by other things even tho those rewards are way better" (and skyrim vr is the only other campaign vr game available [i only play games in vr now cuz im not fat (or maybe because i have had no reason or impetus to leave the house since march)])

No idea why the classical music station has plenty of real compositions, but the first song when I tuned in was a freemium imitation of Beethoven 3 tho...does someone have the copyright on that composition? >_>

Honestly Fallout 4 is my favorite in the franchise and I have played countless hours of all of them.

Unlike pretty much any other sandbox rpg it is well balanced vanilla as long as you use the survival difficulty setting. The only mod I can really recommend is FROST but it is definitely not something you should ever start with. You should only use that after you've played vanilla already. FROST is pretty extreme on the difficulty curve and completely guts the story/setting in favor of a brand new one. It is also one of the best mods I have ever used.

Thank you very much! I played up to the point I got the first power armor and wiped the floor, and it was pretty awesome. I also f'n LOVE my german shepherd pal, i took my first perk for him.

Am I expected to roam around in the power armor most of the time? Or do I save it for special occasions, cuz of the power cores? I parked mine at the first gas station I encountered. Also is there a faster way to break down junk than manually tossing it on the ground, activating a workshop, then scrapping items one by one?

i answered all my Qs with google, pardon me for my enthusiasm :p

also learnt that you can get the DLCs, which aren't sold for fallout 4 vr, working just by pasting them into the dlc folder. lawl
