I've always wondered... Its been my opinion that a primary lute ( lute of the howler) is better off than a secondary lute (i.e. maestro lute).

My reasoning is you can hold a weapon and dps runners, etc, have shield for resists what have you. I realize the hate lute has a higher modifier and thus is "better" but...

Looking for other's input.

Modifier is king

Swapping primary instruments is a pain in the rear anyway, until you have drums of the beast, VP lute, and epic.
