Bard Song Cost on Green?
 

I posted this in the melee forums, but maybe it's better here.

Just made a Half-Elf Bard and was shocked to see I can't afford any songs. Selo's is a plat and Hymn of Restoration is like 3 plat! Is this right? I don't remember it being this expensive. How can I afford any of this?

Level one mobs wielding 1h staves are your best friends.

you guys got trolled

40% exp penalty = you level slower = you collect more money as you. You only need to buy 1 song per level. Just kill different forms of skeletons, sell everything - cloth isn't worth keeping.

TIL that I didn't play much on Classic as I thought. Guess I'd always been on at least Kunark. Not trolling at all; just never had a Bard on true Classic.
