no SMS being sent to my phone, yet i've only ever used one number. am i screwed?
 

Hi all, hopefully someone can help here. I was able to successfully link my PJ1999 forum account with EQemulator, turns out my login account was created there.

So now I can see the login account here, but when I try the SMS option to reset my password, I receive no text message on my phone.

Are my characters basically lost now? What should I do?

just login like you normally do and check if your characters are there

Sorry, guess I should have been more specific. I was trying to reset my login server password, because it's been years, and none of the passwords I would have commonly used with an Everquest account worked. So I either forget, or someone hacked/changed it.

Yeah, sounds like i'm pretty much screwed. no idea where the SMS code needed for a password reset is being sent to, but it's definitely not my phone.

I did PM Rogean on the hope's he one day sees it and takes pity on me, but not holding out much hope. Based on how many others I see who have been locked out because of the SMS system anyhow.

The sms system breaks now and then - give it time and it'll be sorted.

@Mcoy : Thanks, I guess I have no choice but to try the password reset every so often.

Anyone else having this problem? It's something we pay for & need to make sure there are funds for.

I'd imagine it effects more people than we are aware of
