Crash upon zoning and switching characters
 

I crash maybe 3/4 of the time that I zone or switch characters. Using a laptop with windows 10, nvidia GTX 1650.

eqgame.exe > compatibility mode to xp sp2 or 3.

Did you find a fix for this? This just started happening to me as well and now I can't login on any character on any server.

Try connecting via a hotspot or VPN to rule out a routing issue with your ISP. Failing that, rename your eqclient.ini so it reverts to defaults and see if that makes a difference.

Wow, Mcoy is even rezzing people's tech issues. What a server hero.

Yeah I think it is a network issue. When i try to load my character in, it says "Server Not Responding" after several minutes then boots me to login screen.

I tried logging into Red and was successful, but still cannot login to Green or Blue.

Edit: Rebooted my router and the problem was fixed. Seems it was a Network thing.

It seems enabling compatibility mode for SP2 solved my crashing issues. Haven't crashed since I turned it on. Thanks Mcoy
