Crashing EVERYTIME I load

Okay guys... I cannot stop crashing during zoneouts. I'm running windows 10 currently and have NEVER had this issue on my PC. Any thoughts?

I used to crash often, then set my compatibility mode to WIN 8. Don't ever crash anymore. I use WIN 10, but do not know what version U R using.

So, I tried to set compatibility mode but there's no tab for it.

Right click the icon you use to launch the game > properties > compatibility tab > run as admin and compatibility Win XP SP2 ?

For sure, so I use the Everquest batch file. When I click properties there is no compatibility tab.

No no... Go find your EQGame.exe. Then right click to bring up options. (Compatibility mode is found on a tab).
I know people say set it to WIN XP, but I found that doesn't eliminate the problem like WIN 8 does.
Give it a try.

OP i just want to give you hope that I too was once like you and thought "ill never be able to fix this zone crashing bug" but somewhere on this form, long ago, I was able to find the info I needed to do exactly that, if you haven't fixed it you will i swear, i wish I could help more than that right now!

Zzzz, I'm an idiot. I tried it, giving it a shot haha. Thanks!

Yeah, that didn't work either. Tried windows 8 mode and nothing.

compatibility mode XP SP3, running eqgame.exe (in eq folder) as admin

that fixed the exact same problem for me awhile back
