Ok so first let me just clarify what's already done. Awhile back I went through the trouble of making an Animals Category. I can't swear it has every animal in the entire game, but it's got to have 95+% because I went through every "monster race" in the game, and I added the category to every monster with an "animal" race.
In contrast there is also a Summoned Category ... but as you can see it's a bit less complete. It'd be awesome if someone added more mobs to it (to do so you just add [[Category:Summoned]] to the bottom of the mob's page).
Now, aside from that, there's the separate resource of the Per-Level Hunting Guide. It doesn't have "animal" or "summoned" filters (I should probably add them), but it does have class filters. If you limit it to places that are good for Druids, you'll find a lot of spots with animals for charming, for instance.

You can add animals or (especially) summoned mobs to their respective categories. You can add notes to existing hunting spots (eg. "this place has summoned/animals"), or add "DRU" or "RNG" to the "for" field for a hunting spot with animals. Or you can add completely new animal/summoned/whatever spots to that guide ... and any of those things would be awesome!
