Fire beetle eye quest!

I was under the impression this quest was classic but I cannot seem to get it to work.. this is a great quest for newbie dark elves.

Must have been broken recently because that's how I got my faction up with The Dead high enough initially to turn in Thex Mallets.

Does the quest giver con Amiable or higher to you? I couldn't do this quest either because of the one orc I killed in GFay a way long time ago. Blah. I have four full backpacks of Fire Beetle Eyes.

Worked for me yesterday. You have to combine the 10 beetle eyes inside the box he gives you, then turn it in as a "box of beetle eyes".
