Vendors charging wrong prices
 

I noticed this today when buying Tink bags:

Charged me different price than what was quoted. I've bought tons of Tink bags in the past and never had this issue.

Did you change out any gear (such as removing +CHA items) between getting the quoted price and buying the bag? Or have a CHA buff fade (unsure if you had messages filtered)? Perhaps sneaking to get indifferent faction but moved and recognized apprehensive for lower pricing?

Just trying to rule out human error first. Some details on your race/class, faction/charisma standing, and log file of the exchange could help.

My charisma is 110 from gear only, so no buffs.

It's possible that the vendor turned towards me, however since I am KOS to this faction (dubious to the vendor when not sneaking) I would be surprised it would still sell to me at that point.

I will try to reproduce this with a cheaper item and see what happens.

After further testing moving in front of the vendor after the window is open (while sneaking) does not change the price when selling TO a vendor, but does change the price when buying FROM a vendor.

So my guess is one of those is wrong.

I've noticed this bug when sneak-vendoring, too. And, when buying, I get an instant boot to the login screen if the money on my char is between the indifferent price and the bad-faction price they're trying to take.

Interesting... I've had the boot when buying before but I never connected the dots between these two issues before.
