Rivervale Faction issue
 

Hi all,

i have been turning in bandages for RV faction and the /con seems to be off. I was apprehensive and turned in 1100 bandages which put me warmly. According to the faction chart, that makes sense since each bandage is worth +1 faction. BUt then i turned in another 1100 bandages and stayed warmly. According to the chart, I should be ally. Can anyone explain why this is?

this is totally just conjecture but is this green? I seem to recall ally wasn't a thing until velious but I could be totally wrong! I'm sure someone will clarify!

Ally won't be until Veli as previously stated, so max currently is warmly. Not sure if it is open ended though so when Veli does launch it converts to ally, someone else may know.

Does it say your faction cannot get any better?

doesn't say i can't get any higher, so i guess it is still calculating, just not changing what it says? Thanks all for the replies

So the total faction to max is exactly the same, but the ally con message comes later. Your not losing out on anything

The chart is flawed.

I just added a note about it, but the short version is you can't trust its numbers. They are from 2011, and the devs have clearly changed them since.

I verified as much by counting my faction hits in my logs, and seeing more than should be possible according to the chart.
