Are Wu's Gauntlets Classic?
 

According to the Wiki, the recipe for these gloves are classic--I see people selling them in EC as well. However, also according to the Wiki, it requires a "vial of viscous mana" which is stated to require a velious era spell to be made.

So I'm a little confused, is the wiki's recipe wrong? Does it get updated in velious to require the mana vial or something?

Wu's Fighting Armor Set is not craftable until Velious except for the gauntlets. I'm not sure why the wiki says Thicken Mana is from Velious I'm pretty sure you can buy that spell from the brownies, no?

Well, the only way to get the Thicken Mana line of spells is from the Brownie Merchants.

Thats funny I asked guy the same question yesterday who was selling. Gloves classic, rest are various!

The wiki is a community project if you see misinformation please help contribute accurate information.

I've gone ahead and updated several pages to reflect the Classic Era.

Looks good, easier to see now.

I can confirm Wu's gauntlets exist. I asked numerous times for a vial of viscous mana but everyone was like "velious spell brah!" I ran to Lfay to confirm the spell was sold at brownies but couldn't reach vendor. Then an enchanter that i asked earlier about the spell came out to confirm it. She bought the spell, summoned the vial for me and I got the gauntlets made. So yeah, only the gauntlets exist at the moment.

Thicken mana definately sold from brownies. I have one copy and in my bank, along with the other two scrolls.

Can use the earth elemental illusion potion to get faction. Or probably wolf form or whatever.
