Dumbass needs advice
Ok I'll make this short and stupid.
What is the best way to solo as a shammy. I have a 10 iksar and seem to have to do a lot of solo now that most people in my time zone have moved on to higher, loftier levels. i thought that i could snare kite like a druid but shamans dont get snare. I tried drowzy but it doesnt seem to work as well. Anyhow can someone give me some advice as how to do it? flame on... |
Drowsy is an attack speed slow, very useful. Since you do have sow now you could dot and run like hell, (shammy kite). I'm not exactly sure what level u get root but I know it's not too reliable espiecially with the DD portion at the beginning of your DoT's will break nearly everytime. At lower levels basically try and use your slow, a dot maybe two, and melee it down. It's like that mostly until you get a pet at 34, but for right now mobs won't be hitting too hard so u can still melee with a slow and rampage when you get that spell. Good luck!

You can kite, but you have to keep moving. I've done it with a sowed pet, but never solo unless I had to.
Root and DoT is the best method, but right now you can just tank and melee. That works fairly well for a bit. Drowsy is an attack speed debuff, not a movement speed debuff. At 24, with canni and regen makes root/rot a lot easier. It's better than trying to kite. With a sowed pet you can kite ok. |
Sounds like fun. I love the idea of a solo class and did necro on live. Still love necro but I need something else. Love shammy buffs which makes it beat druid for my money.
Thanks for the info, I'm gonna go give it a try |
Seriously, 10th level, just hit them with your biggest dot and melee. Next.

load up on ac and hp gear and drop a dot and melee at your level
