Invisible Characters and NPCs
 

Hello there! I recently installed the Project 99 files, but having an issue with being able to see Character avatars in the character creation screen and in world.
The game will let me log in fine, and create a character, and enter the world where everything seems to work fine.
I just can't see any Characters on the creation screen or any NPCs, other Players, or my own character. All I see is their names and items they are carrying. I can see enchanters pets it seems, and weapons and shields and the like. Just the avatars are missing.

Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

I think I've narrowed it down to being a problem with the game not Recognizing my Nvidia GTX 1050 graphics card. It only wants to see the onboard card in this ASUS ROG Laptop.

Are there any fixes for this?

I really would like to play this game, as I was once a beta tester in 1998, before EverQuest went live.
Is there NO ONE out there who has experienced this trouble and been able to fix it, or should I just give up on trying to play this?
