Enchanter Epic Faction Quest
 

So, I’m trying to figure out which factions you absolutely can’t mess up during vanilla as an Enchanter while still being able to do your epic later.

As far as I can tell you can’t mess with Evil Gnome or Felwithe factions. Is there any others? I see there is a part in Oggok, but since the Snow Blossoms are droppable I could just make an Ogre to do that part, right?

Do you have to do the pre-quest? If so, you would want to avoid messing up Bloodsabers faction.

The wiki shows it as not required, if that’s changed I’d love to hear about it.

Don't kill Neriak guards. Most important if Dark Elf already.

Not mandatory but helps with Verina Tomb spotting.

With other races it makes Dark Elf Illusion still effective.

Otherwise if you do kill guards you will need to make a DE character to watch for Verina and the time it takes logging that character out and then logging in your Enchanter could cost you the spawn to a competitor.

She's that contested.
