Nerf the Droods!
That's right, level 18 druid solos a Griffon!
https://i.imgur.com/4KfC6Rx.png Full disclosure: So there I was, causing mayhem in North Karana by siccing one kind of animal on another. And people thought druids loved animals... All of a sudden I hear a commotion and see the guards battling a Griffon. No worries, these guys always kill anything I've dragged back here... but this fight seems to be going on a long way and then I see one of the guards fall. Hrmm, this is getting interesting. I get up and check it out and they're both getting pretty low on hit points. Finally the last guard dies right when the Griffon turns to flee. I fire off some random fire nuke which of course is resisted. Fearing it healing itself up enough to turn on me I go after it with my club. Long story short(er), I flail around for 5 minutes like an idiot hoping nothing aggros on me (since I'm looking up and not around) and over that time I manage to kill him. Bragging rights! |
hey grats on gaining some xp!

You can see I did another screenshot before that one, I did it just to see how much XP I got. Went from 36% to 47% which I believe is the cap (I remember reading somewhere that 11% was the most you could get from a kill).

Have you tried stinging swarm? Druid magic DOTs have a resist modifier of -100.

Me and a friend once laughed about the two south bridge guards in NK when a Griffin pulled to them both perfectly died and sent the Griffin in flee mode. We never went after it but maybe that situation comes up more often then I thought

You can also drag mobs to the guards and charm right before it dies then break charm and finish off for xp.
