Wanted to recreate a character from blue on green, deleted the character on blue but cannot create with the same name on green. Is this intended?

Sounds like you got the order of events wrong. You should have created the character on Green first, then deleted the character on Blue.

Yes you can, it just needs to be on the same account.

Yes you can. I have several with the same name.

Character Names
You will not be able to create a character on Green with the same name as a character on Blue, unless you are on the same account that owns that character on Blue. We may also bring the server up early to allow character creations ahead of time. We will try to announce this as much in advance as we can.

This doesn't work... I have owned the character on blue since before launch of green, cannot recreate any of my characters

You don’t need to delete the character on blue before making it on green with the same name.

tried that first, didn't work. still doesn't work. I am only able to create one of my blue characters on green created prior to green.

Are you trying on the same account & loginserver account?

Another thing to consider is (I think) Green has a little stricter name filters. What are some of the names your trying?

For example, I couldn’t use the name Fool on green even though I had it on Blue.

Theres a database issue where Teal was merged and the names weren't purged or something. I read this in another thread. I have a char on Blue that I can't make on Green on the same account, because I think I created that guy on Teal once and deleted him.
