Do most people copy the entire patch folder every time?

Do most people copy/overwrite every single file from their patch folder every time P99 is patched? I only ask because the last time I did it, it seemed like I lost lots of my client custom settings like colours, filters, and resolution.

Thanks in advance if you answer. :)

To be honest i usually do yes.

But I dont think i ever lost my settings like you described.

Thanks :) Just did everything but the "Uifiles" folder myself and seemed to lose all my custom keys - I did backup the whole folder before I patched it though.

Do you know wot file saves all the custom keyboard settings by chance?

I copy/paste the whole folder in case of a need to roll back and then copy/paste the new files in.

Keeps setup and gives a valid roll back option.

Oh, I use WinEQ, could that have anything to do with this issue I have after patching P99?

SOLVED

Thanks you guys, I discovered that when using WinEQ2, you set the EQclient.ini to launchtitanium.bat to get it to work with the program. Well, doing that all custom global customizations like custom colours and custom keyboard assignments get saved there, instead of the regular EQclient.ini which probably happens normally? Not sure if this is exactly the case but I did "edit" of my old " launchtitanium.bat" and found all the my old custom settings there.

Do you need to patch the titanium batch file for the patches to work normally? Maybe WinEQ2 users have already been skipping this file to replace w the patches for awhile?

I copy the whole folder then paste it into the p99 everquest folder. When it asks me if I want to overwrite files, i select yes to overwrite all of them.

I haven't had any issues doing it this way.

Thank you for the replies :)

I discovered the issue was with how I was using WinEQ2 and that it put my customizations for keys and colours etc inside the launchtitanium.bat and that was all getting replaced by copying over the new launchtitanium.bat from the patch unzipped folder.
