well i am just about to hit 16 on my wizzy and i am enjoying it.. i was wondering where i could go to find some people so i can find some groups... right now i am in the qeynos area... would moving to freeport be a good idea?

You should be able to find a group in oasis

Yes,
At 16 you can go to Oasis (Zzzzz). There are a lot of people in that zone killing crocs. It can be fairly dull though. You could also go to Unrest. The downside of going to unrest to group at your level is that there aren't any other places to go out that way to find groups.
There is also Upper Guk which often has people in a grouping mood and is much more fun than crocs. I personally spent my teens with one character in Unrest and in Guk with another. Some times you can find groups in High Pass killing Orcs.

thanks! i will try heading there today when i get home if i can find some nice druid to port me to EC..

it was so easy when i started playing... create a toon, find the POK book, go to field of bone then kurns tower then paldual caverns i would have been 24 before you would know it...

but this is better IMO

Oasis truly is a snore.

I soloed in NK on my wizard at your level. Just found it easier to nuke 2 or 3 mobs to death, med, go afk for 5 mins, come back, repeat, etc than find a group. Slow but effective.

Kurns is really nice atm. I am there on my 15 bard and I AoE kite if no group in FoB if no group is available. Kurns is filled to the brink with monks and necros, so any class that is not one of those is appreciated.

i would love to go to kurns but to be honest i dont know how to get there... kinda sad i know

Get on the raft in Oasis
From Timorous Deep run right to the first dock you see, watch out for Ogre raiders and Ogre wise ones
Get on the boat to Overthere, if you're not an evil class/race jump off the boat and swim around.
Run to Warsliks Woods
Run to Field of Bone
