Killed by armadillo
 

So I started an ogre warrior, turned in the guild note, equipped my sword and chest tunic, put 25 points into dex at the creation screen, picked on an armadillo and he murdered my ass. Did I miss a step somewhere? I haven’t checked starting money, maybe there was an armor merchant I see first?

Don't forget to con the mob before you fight it. an Armadillo is level 2 and you are only level 1. I suggest zoning over to Feerrott and start killing white cons (even level to you). Even these can be tough while your abilities skill up, so stick to one at a time.

Also being a fresh level 1 , all your skills are low so you cant hit things well or take damage well till those increase. so yup. gotta consider and try not taking on things higher than you for a while

Warriors dont solo LOL

I created a Wizard once and died to a Decaying Skeleton on my first mob attempt.
I camped, deleted the character and will never play a Wizard again.
