Need opinions on ranger weapons

I'm looking to buy an offhand weapon soon and was wondering if a swiftblade would be better than DWing the horn and a Ebony bladed sword, or something similar.

thoughts?

Looks like you're level 11 right now, based on /who. So you're fighting against damage caps anyway, and it mostly depends on your price range.

Unless you're super-twinked and intend to solo, as a ranger you will want to eventually ditch anything with an aggro-generating proc -- so I wouldn't invest your money in the DHY. Get something for a comparable price with better damage/delay instead of paying for a proc that you won't be able to use (or want). If you have $$$, go with a lammy.

Realistically, from a budget perspective and if you don't intend to solo, a pair of EBWs will last you well into your 30s, if you can get some help with the turn-ins in MM.

Silver Swiftblade isn't too bad once you're past the damage caps, plus raises your 2HS up for a Swarmcaller in case you want to solo later on once it stars proc'ing the slow.

I already have the dragon horn on me, and am in EC looking at cheap ranger 1hers

right now I've got a ghoulbane for sale and about 400p to my name


wasn't sure if I should get another 1her for dual wield or go for a 2her

My Ranger alt is 23 now and I've been really pleased with Green Jade Broadsword/SSoY Combo. I'll re-asses when the Yak starts proccing at 37 but I got em both *really* cheap so they work well for now.
