Hey Ya'll

Spent Christmas on a liveaboard dive boat in the Maldives and made this lil video with the highlights from the trip. Sharks, mantas, turtles, lots of fishy fish, and coral reefs. Hope you enjoy!

This is my first time using the Davinci Resolve program after years of using simple iMovie. A bit of a learning curve now but i can really see the potential this program offers. And it's free!

28/29 degrees C average. I just wore a rash guard and board shorts the whole time. Got a little chilled a few times, but was fine for the most part.

Looks fun. I remember the last video you posted. My buddy just got scuba certified and I sent him this for some motivation.

Nice! It is a fun hobby for sure, although not so easy on the bank account haha. Between diving and skiiing i maintain a status of perpetual hobby induced cash poorness.

But it definitely gives you a reason to travel and experience a part of the world that not many people get to see. Helps gives you some perspective as well. When you see the effects of mass coral bleaching first hand, it makes you think a little more about trying to make sustainable choices in life.

Very nice. Maldives diving on a liveaboard is some of the best diving I have done. Enjoy the coral reefs, while we still have them. :/

Super cool video - super gay music choice

Nah I kinda agree on the music, but the song was played multiple nights while drinking on the boat so it became a pseudo theme song and has some meaning that only those who were there understand. I know, gay right?

Made another video from the trip. This is footage of night diving with Mantas. We used hand torches and spotlights from the boat to attract plankton. The Mantas are able to basically smell the plankton and if you get lucky you can attract quite a few of them. We ended up with about 6-7 that came through.
