Spell Files need updating
 

Hey all,

I was away from the game for a few weeks before Kunark went live. I came back last week and had a notice to update the spell files. I did and I played for a week or so. Then I went away prior to this latest patch. I tried to log in and I have that message to update the spell files again. This time I cannot find them. Any help in located the required files would be greatly appreciated. Is there a permalink for them that I am missing? Anyway any help is appreciated.

You have to use the same as you used the last time. It is included in the "EQ Changes Vx" file mentioned on the index page and mentioned in the setup guide

But I have a different problem. Since yesterday I have to repeat this almost each time I login.

look in my signature.. pick option (13) and it will update all the files for you.

Im having the same problem. Ive always used the installer to get past it but this time it isnt working. help please I need my EQ fix.

use the eqemulauncher, it will always check for new files when you click "play" on your server ...

I checked option 13, selected the eq folder. It went thru an update sequence then said it had been installed but still cant get in game.

I went back and selected the first option, now i cant even make it to the character select screen.
How can i undo all the changes i made?

you must be using an old version of the installer. Use version v0.7

make sure you use v0.7 of the installer and not 0.6 and run option (1) again.
