Coming back as a rogue, weapon question
 

I haven't played eq in like 12 years and am making a rogue on the green server.

Does anyone have any advice for getting decent weapons when starting from scratch. I think I remember large snake fangs being ok starter daggers.

if you can save 10p early you can get a spear from vendor which is 6/29 and then sell it back for almost 10p when you are done using it. after that if you can save 40-50p you can buy a dragoon dirk or get it as a drop which is 6/23... after that you are looking at jambiya (7/27) for 150p or so and then gloomwater harpoon 9/31 for 1200p or so. that is the route i went. i now use gw harpoon and jambiya at level 31.

giant snake fang is ok, but by the time you could kill a snake for it, you probably have saved 10p and should be using a spear instead.
