Why Was Manastone Drop Rate Reduced?

https://wiki.project1999.com/Non-Classic_Compendium

Mobs/Drops
Manastone drop rate made significantly-more rare on Teal/Green.

Is this true? Are there any sources to confirm this?
If it is true, why has this been done and can we please have it reverted?

ouch.

was talking to a buddy about this earlier. Regardless of whether the intent is to eventually merge the servers, these should be treated as two separate servers, because they are!

In the other scenario, that were playing in two "instanced" versions of the game, you don't split drop rates between the # of instances. You can't justify it unless you do it to every single item, and even then it just highlights the bs behind this decision

First, Llandris refuted the drop changes.

Second, the staff can justify it, because it’s their project and it’s free.

Third, again I have to say, a server full of fake dark elves running around spamming their manastones is dumb as fuck.

Stop making these threads.

Please go be salty somewhere else.

I'm looking for honest answers to why the drop rate is allegedly not classic.

You know the staff doesn't run the wiki, right? All kinds of wrong things on there

You just got your answer. If you must continue banging on about this, do it in the thread already in the bug section.

Also, you need to learn that most of the server does. not. give. two. shits. about you not getting a manastone. The fact staff are removing these drop rate threads to R&F should tell you something.

whats wrong w Dark elves running around everywhere?

Its like some people dont understand Classic EQ...that’s what occurred when the game was live and real: Guises were common and everyone was DE at raids.

That's what happened on Blue, Guises were not common on live.

As for what's wrong with it, if you feel a server full of Ogres Dwarves Elves Humans Gnomes etc is not more interesting/atmospheric than a server full of guised fake dark elves, that's an interesting stance to take, but to each his own.

I found a wiki entry that says you should stop posting, OP. You better take heed of it.
