The Wiki has some bizarre choices sometimes. The best thing you can do is go into the Equipment subsection, sort by class, and see which options have the most of whichever stats you want to raise (Wisdom until cap for Clerics).
You should also take into consideration how obtainable a given piece of gear is (end-game loot is always poopsocked 24/7), and if you're playing on Green/Teal, whether the value of the item is inflated and will drop like a rock when Kunark and Velious hit. You can do this by comparing prices on Blue to prices on Green/Teal.
