2 accounts in 1 house
 

So, I got p1999 on my son's computer. We have his account up and running but it won't let me be on at the same time as it says the ip is banned - I'm assuming because we are both on the same ip? (we use the same wifi).

I tried the search function and can't find anything.

Any insight or some guidance on where to look to rectify this?

U will need to apply for an Ip exemption so you can use 2 accounts on the same Ip. They do not want people multiboxing accts. There is a section in the forums called Petition/Exploit . There u will find the steps you need to take

and make sure your son does NOT know your password, if you are at work one day and he decides to use your account to transfer items to himself, he will get you IP banned for life. :D

Thanks for the info! I ended up finding an answer and I submitted a petition.

Good advice on the password info too. I don't know how often he'll play but we'll see.

If your son happens to want to play a healer/buffer... make sure you're not tempted to log that account in when he's not around to buff yourself. Surely people don't get caught for logging something in briefly right? Wrong!

Indeed. The server folks made this very clear. I can see how it could suck some folks in and get them a perma-ban!
