Can we rethink the no custom UI
 

I'm all for limiting the functionality of the UI to what it was at launch. I'm ok with only one hotbutton window, no pet window etc.

But, removing custom UI's is a mistake in my opinion. I'm playing on a monitor that's 4x the resolution of what I was using when the game launched, and i'm having a hard time reading the text in some windows. (my eyes are 20 years older than they were when i first played)

I remember having pages of social's specific to certain situations (soloing, grouping, corpse run etc). This was necessary because we only had one hot button window. Now, the action window is so small, it's very difficult to use.

Is it not possible to lock the functionality of the interface but still allow us to customize the windows available to us?

Is allowing a player a custom UI going to give them a great advantage over other players, or hurt other players enjoyment of the game?

you can use /chatfontsize 1-5 to adjust text in windows as needed to help with at least one of your problems.

my ui from blue barely changed besides losing four buttons and getting stoned and i'm a friggin end game raider, what are you people doing to your uis

bad UI is ok. I definitely hate the fact that you can't slide the slider to full opacity without changing each window to a custom color.

Fully agree. We should have the option to edit the appearance without changing any functionality.

I want my 1 action bar in a line instead of a rectangle, and I want my spell bar horizontal. I want to edit the size of the windows so I can actually see them.

Forced UI isn't classic so that argument is invalid imo.

That works for chat windows, but you can't do that on the hotbar window, action window etc

I also want to get rid of that black scrollbar but its hard coded and I need one of the smarter volunteers to help me :(

As an aside, I also own the name lusty lady. So I got that goin for me... which is nice.
